Main Purpose of Role: As a HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced HR professionals, gaining invaluable insights and hands-on experience in various HR functions. Key Responsibilities To be a point of contact for all day-to-day HR administration queries and to redirect to other members of the HR team appropriately as required Contribute to the success of the HR Department by providing a first-class service to all employees across the business To monitor and administer the company absence policy ensuring all absence is recorded and the relevant paperwork is submitted To ensure the upkeep of the employee personal files on HR databases, ensuring they are compliant with GDPR and Right to Work regulations Attending and minute taking HR meetings such as disciplinary and grievance hearings To assist with recruitment activities by advertising roles and support with interview preparation To assist with the issue of offer packs and contracts of employment to new employees, ensuring that the paperwork returned is checked for compliance, scanned and filed appropriately Assist in the planning & execution of employee inductions, including coordinating with various departments To compile correspondence for the life cycle of employees, including probation and salary reviews and leaver documentation Provide support for any training and development courses, booking courses, organising venues, sending confirmations to attendees and producing any supporting documents To comply with Company policy and best practise in security, legal and regulatory Essential Skills Eagerness to learn and develop HR skills Maintaining a high level of confidentiality Experience of providing a high level of customer service, ideally delivering high volume and precise administration Customer focused, and a team player Excellent planning and organisational skills Confident communicator both written and verbal Attention to detail - Uses initiative and is solution focussed Proficient and competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel, and bespoke software packages Demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, and able to work with minimal supervision at times Ability to show compassion and empathy in difficult situations Full UK Drivers Licence Enhanced Benefits Annual leave entitlement starting at 23 days plus bank holiday, increasing with length of service up to 28 days plus bank holidays Buy Holiday Scheme Matched Pension Scheme Life Assurance (4 times basic salary) FREE BUPA healthcare and Dental Plan Long Service Awards at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 years Employee Discounts, high street, food shopping, holidays and much more Additional Information : Due to the location of the office and no local public transport routes, you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
