We are working closely with a wonderful Primary School in the BS13 area of South Bristol, seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children with SEMH needs.
This school provides an inclusive environment and curriculum, supporting children from challenging backgrounds to access and develop their learning at their own pace.
Role Overview:
This is a great opportunity for someone with prior experience working with SEMH, whether in a school setting or elsewhere. The school is looking for a full-time candidate with a calm and nurturing presence, and a good understanding of adapting activities to meet children's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Communicate clearly with the SENCO and staff members.
* Use your initiative to support children with varied abilities and needs.
* Provide a safe, calming environment for children.
Working with Long-term Teachers:
