A leading infrastructure and utilities contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering essential power and civil engineering projects across the region.
Location: London
Salary: £50,000-£56,000 per annum + car allowance and package
Responsibilities
 * Plan and coordinate works alongside the Construction Project Manager.
 * Implement CDM requirements and manage health, safety, environmental, and quality standards on site.
 * Oversee both self-delivered and subcontracted work packages.
 * Conduct site inductions, inspections, and toolbox talks.
 * Prepare and issue RAMS and permits.
 * Adapt ITPs to site-specific permanent works and collate evidence for closure.
 * Manage material and labour requisitions, including plant hire and off-hire.
 * Maintain accurate site records, diaries, and cost/forecast reports.
Skills & Experience
 * Proven experience as a Site Manager within the civil engineering, utilities, or power sectors.
 * Experience working with a DNO and knowledge of substation projects and NEC3 contracts.
 * Relevant qualifications including SSSTS/SMSTS, Streetworks (NRSWA) Supervisor, and IOSH (or equivalent).
 * Strong understanding of CDM regulations, RAMS production, and cost management.
 * Experience managing trenching, deep excavations, RC works, duct installation, cable pulling, and switchgear installation.
 * Full UK driving licence (essential).
