About you You are Level 2 qualified in Food and Hygiene with some previous experience working as a Cook/Chef What you'll be doing Providing nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals for all children attending the nursery and catering for children with specific dietary needs Instilling Storal Values to Food and Hygiene and compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health and Safety and within the guidelines of Ofsted Ensuring all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation Being aware of COSHH and follow relevant guidelines Being responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen What you'll need Level 2 qualification in Food and Hygiene Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together What you'll get Performance related bonuses 50% childcare discount Annual wellness day off Access to retail and other discounts through Perkbox 20 days holidays (plus bank holiday), increasing to 22 days after 2 years service and 25 days after 5 years service Dedicated learning and development support Access to one-to-one confidential counselling sessions through our Employee Assistance Programme Plus, many more.
