Hays are delighted to be working exclusively with a Tier 1 contractor working on a major water framework in the Midlands region. This multi-accredited nationwide contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities to move into more leadership roles. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard an M&E Site Manager to join the team.
Your new role
As M&E Site Manager, you will be involved in the delivery of water schemes from design through to build andmissioning in the Leicestershire area. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring projects are delivered to programme and within budget and specified timeframes, overseeing site operations, conducting site audits and inspections, maintaining accurate documentation and records as well as directing subcontractors and direct staff.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience in mechanical and/or electrical works within the water sector in a management/supervisory capacity and hold relevant certifications, including CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid. In addition, you will have previous experience in leading delivery teams and be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Finally, you will have a good understanding of NEC form of contracts and possess strong interpersonal skills.
