A commercial law firm recognised in the Legal 500 are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join them.
You will join a team who work with a varied portfolio of clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to professional firms, AIM-listed companies and global organisations.
Role
This role will involve advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law under minimal supervision.
Work will include but is not limited to:
* Drafting and advising on employment contracts
* Advising on severance terms
* Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures and redundancy processes
* Advising on data protection issues
* Handling Employment Tribunal disputes
* Supporting the corporate team with transactions and due diligence
You will support more junior members and manage client relationships. As a senior member of the team you will be expected to engage in business development and help shape the continued growth of the team.
There are opportunities for this individual to become a Director in the business which will include a buy-in option.
Candidate
Please apply if you have a minimum of 5 years PQE and strong employment law experience from a regional or City law firm. You must be a strategic commercial thinker with strong interpersonal skills.
The firm are looking for candidates who are looking to work 3 or 4 days a week. Most of the team are in the office 2 days a week.
