Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all phases of construction/build projects from pre-construction to handover
* Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
* Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Monitor project budgets, costs, and resource allocation
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders
* Resolve on-site issues, delays, and technical challenges promptly
* Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to senior management
* Ensure all work is completed according to specifications and contractual requirements
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in construction, engineering, or project/build management
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Good understanding of health & safety legislation (e.g., CDM Regulations in the UK)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject, or similar)
Qualifications
* Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
* Professional certifications (e.g., CIOB, PMP) are advantageous
* Valid CSCS card or equivalent (depending on region)
