Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Regeneration contractor in Grimsby to hire a freelance Site Manager for 2 weeks holiday cover to assist on a kitchen and bathroom scheme on behalf of the council in tenanted and void properties.
The successful Manager will preferably come from a background within the social housing sector and worked on similar schemes previously.
Responsibilities:
* Managing trades such as Joiners, Bricklayers, Plumbers, Plasterers to carry out repairs/maintenance in tenanted and void properties.
* Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed within set deadlines.
* Reporting progress to senior management.
* Ensuring work is completed to the agreed high standards.
* Coordinating teams of workers and subcontractors
* Maintaining quality control checks
* Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
* Ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are being adhered too
Requirements & Experience
* SMSTS
* First Aid At Work
* CSCS Card
* DBS Check or be willing to apply for a DBS online
* Previous experience in the Social Housing Sector as a Manager/Supervisor
* Own transport
* Monday - Friday working week, 40 - 45 Hours per Week
* £28 Per Hour CIS or UMB payment
