You will be working for a well-known large Local Authority based in London.
Job Description
The HR Administrator will provide comprehensive support to the HR Team, enabling the team to operate in the most efficient way. You will be responsible for the following:
3. Maintaining employee records in line with privacy requirements
4. Managing the administrative elements of both the new starter and leaver processes, to include induction and probation
5. Respond to the HR in-box, ensuring timely resolution of employee queries
6. Preparing and amending HR documents, like employment contracts and recruitment guides
7. Supporting the HR department's daily activities
8. Coordinating with other departments to ensure company-wide compliance with HR policies
9. Contributing to the development of HR policies and procedures
The Successful Applicant
The successful HR Administrator should have:
10. Experience of working within an administrative role within an HR environment
11. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with ability to build and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally
12. Willingness/drive to learn about HR
13. Strong communication skills
14. Excellent organisational and team working skills.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
16. Good understanding of UK labour laws
17. Ability to maintain confidentiality
