Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and accomplished Sales Order Processing/Customer Service Manager to join an exceptional logistics company in an important position. The business provides warehousing and logistics services, both to other group entities and to third parties, largely in the retail and automotive spaces. The company is highly successful and is moving into a new, state of the art, purpose-built facility next month.
The Sales Order Processing/Customer Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders, ensuring high service levels across the customer journey and leading a team (of six) that acts as the key point of contact for customer queries. This role ensures that customer satisfaction is maximised, by delivering timely, professional support and by streamlining order-to-delivery processes.
The chosen candidate will be in charge of managing and optimising the end-to-end order processing workflow from order entry to delivery and invoicing. Further, they will lead the Customer Service Team to deliver responsive, professional, and solution focused service – working collaboratively with all the other necessary departments within the business.
