About the Role
You’ll take ownership of recruitment processes and support a variety of HR activities across the employee lifecycle. From attracting and onboarding new team members to providing first-line HR support, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the employee experience.
Working closely with managers across the business, you’ll be a proactive ambassador for the employer brand – promoting the organisation as a fantastic place to work, both locally and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes in collaboration with departmental managers
2. Create engaging job descriptions and compelling adverts across various platforms
3. Maintain and optimise content on careers pages and social media channels
4. Administer and track candidate applications using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
5. Coordinate advertising strategies, both internally and externally
6. Explore new recruitment platforms and maintain agency relationships
7. Build and manage a candidate database; create and send regular vacancy alerts
8. Represent the company at job fairs, exhibitions and industry events
9. Produce offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation
10. Act as a point of contact for candidate and employee HR queries
11. Provide guidance to managers on low-level employee relations matters
12. Support all aspects of HR administration and reporting
13. Maintain and troubleshoot the HR Information System (HRIS)
14. Contribute to the ongoing development of HR policies, processes and projects
About You
You’ll have proven experience in recruitment – ideally in hospitality or a customer-focused sector – and a genuine interest in people.
You’ll also need to be:
15. Tenacious, proactive and organised
16. Creative, with strong written communication skills
17. Comfortable using HRIS and digital tools
18. Confident navigating social media for recruitment purposes
19. Detail-oriented with excellent administrative accuracy
20. Personable, approachable and professional in all interactions
A CIPD qualification would be a bonus, but we also welcome applicants looking to further develop their HR skills in a supportive environment. We’re committed to continuous professional development and will support the right candidate in growing their HR career.
Hours
21. 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday), worked over 4 or 5 days
22. Core hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm
