We require an experienced, dedicated, friendly and professional catering manager to lead our catering team and help make a difference to the lives of young people through delivering healthy, nutritious and balanced meals at our four schools. You will become an integral part of the school, managing the catering team, preparing, cooking and serving lunches for young people and school staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive dining experience for all. You will have autonomy to create exciting and nutritious menu cycles, You will have previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment with an organised approach, alongside a good understanding of the food industry, costs and working to a set budget. A passion for delivering fantastic customer service is essential, and we will be looking for you to demonstrate strong communication skills with an adaptable approach to work. As the Catering Manager you will have full operational and financial responsibility for our catering facility, focusing on delivering the highest quality of food and service as well as having the flair, originality and the ability to make this one of the best school catering offers in the area. Your responsibilities will include: Having full control of the catering operation including stock, food, and labour costs Ensuring consistency of food and service standards delivered to the students and staff Managing and improving all controllable costs Overseeing menu development Maintaining systems & procedures, and legislation Carrying out regular audits to ensure standards are being met Applicants are invited and encouraged to tour the school and discuss the role with the Business Manager, Andrea Dix, and should complete their application by the deadline of 11 July 2025.
