We are seeking an experienced AutoRek Developer to support our Finance and Operations functions within a regulated UK Financial Services environment. The successful candidate will develop, optimise and support automated reconciliations, financial controls, and data processing workflows using the AutoRek platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, configure and maintain end‑to‑end reconciliations and workflows within AutoRek.
* Develop automated data ingestion, transformation rules, match logic and exception workflows.
* Ensure reconciliations support regulatory standards including FCA, PRA, CASS and IFRS requirements.
* Deliver platform enhancements working with Finance, Operations, Risk and Technology teams.
* Create documentation for functional and technical specifications.
* Support UAT, troubleshooting, platform upgrades and ongoing BAU activity.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Hands‑on AutoRek development experience (Modules 1–5 desirable).
* Strong understanding of reconciliation processes used across banking, insurance or investment sectors.
* SQL proficiency and experience with financial data transformation.
* Ability to interpret accounting flows, ledger structures and operational controls.
* Experience working in regulated UK Financial Services environments.
Desirable Skills
* Experience integrating AutoRek with GL/ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sun or Workday.
* Knowledge of CASS reconciliations, prudential reporting, and risk/control frameworks.
* Familiarity with ETL tools, APIs, and SFTP file transfer processes.
* Understanding of Power BI or similar reporting tools.
