About the Role and Client
A leading global financial institution is seeking an innovative Power Platform Developer to join their Development team in London. You will develop and support low-code business applications using Power Platform, M365, C#, JavaScript as well as support of HCL Notes (Lotus Notes) using Formula language and LotusScript. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions that make a tangible impact on day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade Power Apps applications using both Canvas and Model-driven approaches.
* Build seamless integrations across the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 services.
* Leverage Common Data Service (CDS) and other data sources to create robust, efficient data management solutions.
* Develop and maintain custom plugins and PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) components to extend platform capabilities.
* Implement development best practices, standards, and guidelines to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Diagnose and resolve application issues, providing ongoing technical support and maintenance to ensure business continuity.
Essential Requirements
* Strong proficiency in Power Apps development, including Canvas or Model-driven approach.
* Familiarity with integrating Power Apps applications with other Azure services.
* Prior experience and knowledge of HCL Notes (Lotus Notes) Version 9-12.
* Proven experience developing custom business applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
* Exposure to large end to end PowerApps project from conception to live.
* Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, React, PCF Controls.
Desirable Skills
* Power BI proficiency
* API integration
* Some knowledge of Kofax or similar tool
* Knowledge of Mendix or other LCAP tool
* Knowledge and experience of working with SQL/Oracle databases and writing SQL scripts
* Strong understanding of Azure services such as Azure functions, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure DevOps, and other Azure services
* Strong experience with C#, .NET
* Strong experience in Unit Testing
* Experience with CI/CD for Power Platform and Azure Services
* Prior experience of LotusScript
* Prior experience of HCL Notes (Lotus Notes) Formula Language
* Finance experience
