Site Manager
Location: Leicester
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 per annum + Car Allowance
Are you an experienced Site Manager seeking long-term stability and opportunities for career progression?
TS Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established main contractor operating across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. We are currently recruiting a Site Manager / Assistant Site Manager to support a Project Manager on a £7.5 million new build project.
What's on Offer:
* Competitive salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
* Car allowance
* 28 days holiday including bank holidays
* Pension scheme (following a 3-month qualifying period)
* Site hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards
* Manage on-site labour and subcontractors effectively
* Oversee a technically complex site involving M&E, brickwork, joinery, and finishing trades
* Interpret and provide guidance on technical drawings
* Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
* Perform regular site inspections to assess progress and quality
* Support the Project Manager with progress reporting and programme tracking
About the Company:
* A growing and established main contractor
* Specialising in new build projects valued up to £10 million
* Projects include commercial developments and care homes
Candidate Requirements:
* SMSTS and First Aid certification
* CSCS card (preferably Black)
* Proven experience managing care home or commercial build projects for a main contractor
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Ambition to progress within a long-term role
