We are currently recruiting a freelance Groundworks Site Manager to start early February in Ellesmere Port. The project involves groundworks / public realm works on a refurbishment of a market.
Role details:
• Position: Freelance Groundworks Site Manager
• Duration: Till Project is completed
• Location: Ellesmere Port
• Start Date: February 2026
• Sector: Main Contractor
Requirements:
• Proven experience with groundworks
• Must have in date CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
• Must be able to commit to the full duration of the contract
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day to day operations
• Ensure program is on track
• Co-ordinate trades and civils contractors
• Daily site reports
• Monitor H&S compliance including toolbox talks and audits
