About the job:
We’re looking for a Labourer to join our Stormwater & Waterways Team in Christchurch, focusing on vegetation management.
As a Waterways Labourer, you will perform manual labour tasks related to maintaining stormwater basins, waterways, and rivers. This role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
What you’ll need:
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Physically fit and enjoys being outdoors and active
* Health and safety conscious
* Comfortable working both in a team and independently
* Skilled in operating or eager to learn to operate various plant and equipment
* Holding a full Class 1 driver’s licence
* Having at least 6 months of experience as a trainee or water labourer

All preferred candidates will be required to complete pre-employment checks to the employer’s satisfaction, including but not limited to a criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
