Role Details
1. Position: Cook
2. Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week
3. Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including alternate weekends
4. Typical Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay Rates
5. Monday to Friday: £12.31 per hour
6. Saturday: £16.62 per hour
7. Sunday: £20.80 per hour
Key Responsibilities
8. Prepare and cook meals in accordance with hospital dietary requirements
9. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
10. Work collaboratively with catering staff to deliver high-quality service
11. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
Requirements
12. Previous experience as a Cook in a commercial or healthcare setting essential
13. Knowledge of food safety regulations and allergen management
14. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
15. Flexibility for rota-based shifts including weekends
