About the Role
Are you a highly motivated and target-driven Sales Executive with a passion for building lasting customer relationships? Dicksons of Perth, a prestigious family-run dealership with a 65-year history, is seeking a Sales Executive to join our expanding team. Specializing in new and used motorhomes, campervans, and caravans, we are known for our exceptional customer service and high-quality leisure vehicles. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and results-oriented professional who can effectively guide clients through their purchasing journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with new and existing customers, assessing their specific needs to provide tailored recommendations on our premium range of new and used leisure vehicles.
* Drive sales growth by maximising all opportunities to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
* Develop a robust sales pipeline by conducting proactive outbound telemarketing and qualifying inbound leads and enquiries.
* Manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and report on performance metrics with accuracy using our CRM software.
* Collaborate with the marketing department to leverage promotional campaigns and special offers on vehicle stock and hire services.
* Conduct engaging and informative sales presentations and product demonstrations, highlighting the features and benefits of leading brands such as Pilote, Malibu, and Roller Team.
* Maintain expert knowledge of product specifications, industry trends, and market competitors to offer superior advice to clients.
* Perform accurate part-exchange valuations to provide fair and competitive offers, streamlining the transaction for customers.
* Work closely with finance providers and brand manufacturers to ensure a seamless and efficient transaction process.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
* A minimum of two years of proven experience in vehicle sales or a similar face-to-face, target-driven sales environment.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and negotiate effectively.
* Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* A full, clean UK driving licence.
* Proficiency with CRM software and a solid foundation in general computer skills.
Desirable:
* An understanding of the motorhome and caravan industry or an interest in the leisure vehicle lifestyle.
* Experience in conducting presentations or product demonstrations.
Compensation
* Basic Salary: £26,000 to £32,000 per annum, based on experience.
* Commission: An uncapped commission structure with an average earning potential of £200–£250 per sale, resulting in a potential On-Target Earnings (OTE) exceeding £65,000.
