Role Summary
Are you an experienced HR Manager, comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment? Are you collaborative and able to influence stakeholders at all levels within an organisation? If the answer is yes – this HR Manager will join our team in Folkestone, Kent for a FTC maternity cover of approximately 8 months, starting January 2026. The role is based onsite 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
* Lead the UK HR Team to deliver an effective HR service.
* Business partner with the UK management teams to provide coaching and guidance on people‑related topics.
* Manage employee relations cases (grievance, disciplinary, performance management, illness, etc.).
* Recruitment and onboarding for UK employees.
* Manage employee welfare in collaboration with occupational health and ensure statutory obligations are met.
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law and keep policies regularly reviewed.
* Manage the welfare and training budgets to maximise benefits.
* Support initiatives and projects, including mental health, employee engagement, D&I.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a HR function, including payroll.
* Current CIPD Level 7 qualification and significant experience in a fast‑paced industry such as manufacturing/logistics.
* Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing complex ER cases.
* Experience in a FMCG or similar fast‑paced environment.
* Digital proficiency – confident with Microsoft programs and HRIS (Workday preferred).
* Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Ability to make timely decisions with limited information.

Working hours: Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 17:00, Friday 9:00 – 16:30.
