Corin is looking to hire an experienced HR Manager to support the operations across the UK on a part-time permanent basis! The HR Manager - UK is an integral part of the Global HR leadership team, driving and contributing to Corin’s overall People Strategy. This position works closely with business leaders within the UK to build people plans across the employee lifecycle, which drive performance, employee engagement, and managerial effectiveness.
This is a hybrid role, where you would be expected to be on-site at our global Head Office in Cirencester for a minimum of 3 days per week and are open to discussion on working patterns. Ideally we would be looking for around 28-30 hours per week.
Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
* Use business acumen and human capital insights (both internal and external) to influence and shape global HR strategy, working closely with the Global HR Director.
* Conduct strategic and operational HR analysis of the UK and develop plans to drive performance, employee engagement, and managerial effectiveness.
* Lead planning and implementation of large-scale HR and corporate projects as well as change management initiatives for the UK in line with legal requirements.
* Management of the UK HR team, ensuring team engagement and alignment, coaching and identifying opportunities to continue to grow and develop the team where applicable.
* Work in partnership with senior leaders and their managers to motivate and work effectively with their teams.
* Facilitate internal learning events and workshops, delivering content as appropriate.
* Lead employee relations strategy, policy, and practice for the UK, including planning and implementation of any UK legislation requirements or changes, whilst identifying high-level risks and associated mitigation – in conjunction with the Global HR Director.
* Lead end to end employee life cycle practices and processes for the UK business.
* Provide insights to Centre of Excellence Functions (specifically Recruitment and HR Systems) to help shape strategy and processes which ultimately support the Executive Team in implementing changes effectively.
The ideal HR Manager - UK will have:
* Strong work experience in an HR leadership position.
* People management experience – we want someone who is able to motivate and develop our HR team as well as the wider business.
* Collaborative and creativity approach – we are globalising a number of processes, so this role will be instrumental in moving this forward.
* Broad HR generalist experience with a strong operational focus, coupled with a strategic approach.
* Demonstrable project management skills.
* Worked ideally within a manufacturing, health-related or engineering business with integrated head office functions.
* A strong employer relations background with a calm and approachable persona, as to see things from all perspectives.
* Significant experience in partnering with senior stakeholders, working strategically and collaboratively to deliver pragmatic and effective and positive outcomes.
* A strong understanding of UK employment law.
* A highly proactive approach to integrating HR into the wider business functions by anticipating reaction and presenting realistic solutions.
* Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.
