We are looking for a friendly, dynamic, and professional individual to join our busy Estates Management team at Stowe School. This role is pivotal in assisting the Group Director of Estates and the Estates Building Maintenance team to ensure that the upkeep and statutory compliance of all buildings and infrastructure in and around the school and any other properties that the school may have at their disposal, are fully maintained.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders across all four Schools within the Stowe Group as well as external third parties, working on multiple projects ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget. You will have a good knowledge of Health and Safety and Statutory Compliance, building management and defect diagnosis. You will have strong people management skills and take a proactive approach in driving team development.
About You
* You will have good building technical knowledge and previous experience in estate/building management
* You will be able to to diagnose defects, specify repairs and project manage construction works.
* Good personal approach and a proactive response to meet the Schools needs.
* Work well as part of a multi-skilled team and enjoy a busy and varied role.
* Good building technical knowledge.
* Previous experience of leading a team.
* Knowledgeable of Health and Safety regulations, including asbestos management, CDM regulations and the Building Safety Act, as pertinent to the areas of responsibility.
* Good written and reporting skills.
