An established and reputable main contractor operating within the social housing sector is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager (Internal Works) to support a growing portfolio of refurbishment and retrofit projects in the Swindon area.

The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for internal works across social housing schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing day-to-day site operations
2. Managing subcontractors and direct labour
3. Ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations
4. Coordinating works within occupied and void properties
5. Monitoring programme delivery and quality standards
6. Liaising with tenants, housing officers, and client representatives
7. Maintaining accurate site records and compliance documentation
Experience delivering retrofit or energy efficiency projects would be highly advantageous.
Essential Requirements
8. SMSTS
9. Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or IATP)
10. Gold CSCS Card or above
11. Clean Driving Licence
12. Basic DBS
Desirable
13. CIH Certificate in Managing Housing Maintenance
14. IOSH Managing Safely
15. Experience within retrofit or planned maintenance schemes
