Assistant Site Manager / External Manager - Finishing Work
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Assistant Site Managers to work for a developer in London specializing in the residential sector. The company typically undertakes projects ranging from £5 million to £250 million.
You will primarily assist senior managers in overseeing the progress of internal fit-out works.
As an Assistant Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing daily progress of internal works.
2. Monitoring and reporting on the progress of activities.
3. Coordinating with subcontractors and resolving any issues on site.
4. Enforcing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
5. Conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
6. Assisting senior management in coordinating with stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members.
7. Ensuring activities align with the project timeline.
8. Carrying out snagging inspections and reporting to senior management.
9. Maintaining accurate and current project documentation.
10. Assisting in preparing daily or weekly reports on site activities, progress, and issues.
Requirements:
1. 1-3 years of site experience as a trainee, assistant, or block manager.
2. An enthusiastic approach to construction and gaining personal experience.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
4. SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS certifications.
The rate is negotiable based on experience. Successful candidates will be interviewed immediately. The project is scheduled to run until the end of 2025.
