We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development / Key Account Manager to grow existing customer accounts while actively developing new business. This role suits a proactive sales professional with experience in a metal stockholding environment who enjoys identifying opportunities, building relationships, and driving revenue growth. Office based role. 08:30AM - 17:00PM Key Responsibilities * Manage a portfolio of key customer accounts, maintaining strong relationships through regular contact * Achieve agreed gross profit targets across existing accounts, new business, and wider sales activity * Proactively generate new opportunities through targeted cold calling and customer visits * Identify and develop new business opportunities, implementing strategies to achieve success * Handle incoming enquiries and source third-party stock where required * Provide regular feedback on sales performance, market conditions, and customer trends * Maintain in-depth knowledge of the full product range and competitor activity * Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements, both commercially and technically Requirements * Minimum of 3 years’ B2B sales experience within the metal stockholding industry (experience with copper and/or nickel-based alloys preferred) * Proven experience managing key customer accounts * Strong communication and customer service skills * Strategic mindset with the ability to proactively identify new opportunities * Demonstrable track record of developing new business * Alignment with core values of responsiveness, reliability, and respect * Full UK driving licence preferred
