Amalga Limited are a specialist airport construction logistics contractor and have been awarded contracts at Heathrow Airport to support the delivery of several major construction projects. We provide construction logistical support including the delivery of equipment, consumables, and airside cleared staff into the airside areas.
Key responsibilities in your role as a Labourer will be to deliver construction equipment, consumables and materials into sites using manual handling tools and equipment. You will be working within integrated teams in the airside areas in a live operational airport environment ensuring high standards of safety and security are maintained. You may also be supporting specialist tradespersons, removing redundant waste, escorting temporary pass holders and participating in traffic management operations.
The successful candidate must have a valid CSCS card, right to work in the UK, photo ID, proof of address, excellent communication skills and some form of previous construction site experience and be competent at following safe systems of work. You will need to pass a criminal record check, a five-year written check, an online security training course and be prepared to participate in random drug and alcohol tests on site. You will need to have been resident in the UK for the last five years. Previous airport experience is useful, not essential.
We can offer an employment contract paying £14.80 per hour on days 07:30-16:00 five days per week or £18.50 per hour on nights working 19:30 – 04:00 five nights per week.
