Summary: CATERING MANAGER - PRIMARY SCHOOL
Responsibilities
* Ensuring consistency of food and service standards delivered to the students and staff.
* Overseeing menu development.
* Having full control of the catering operation including stock and food.
* Organising monthly promotions and added value events to help increase school uptake.
* Managing and improving all controllable costs.
* Maintaining school systems & procedures, and legislation.
* Managing other catering staff.
About you
We need someone who shares our vision for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools along with the following skills and experience:
* OND or HND qualified (not essential but advantageous).
* Chef/Craft based experience using fresh ingredients.
* Experience providing a food service to approximately 150-200 customers with a view to increasing this take.
* Knowledge of current health and safety practices.
* Line management experience.
* Experience within a similar environment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Must have catering experience and preparation and cooking food for the general public.
