Location: HU1
Salary: £30,000 basic + £15,000 commission
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Working Pattern: 4 days office-based, 1 day remote

The Role
We are looking for a driven, commercially minded, and consultative Sales Executive to support new business growth.
This is primarily a lead generation role, focused on prospecting and qualifying opportunities rather than closing deals, with clear progression into a full closing position.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Generation
1. Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound outreach, targeted campaigns, networking, referrals, and events
2. Research prospective clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and strategic priorities
Consultative Selling
3. Engage prospects through tailored conversations and presentations
4. Conduct discovery to identify opportunities across functions such as strategy, marketing, insights, product, and innovation
5. Clearly communicate the value of data, research, and intelligence solutions
6. Build relationships with multiple stakeholders within target organisations
Internal Collaboration
7. Work closely with Business Development Managers, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams
8. Share market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence
9. Support smooth handover of qualified opportunities
Market Awareness
10. Stay informed on industry trends and developments
11. Represent the business in meetings, webinars, and events where required
What We’re Looking For
Essential
12. Minimum 2 years’ experience in business development or sales
13. Strong track record of generating new business opportunities
14. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
15. Ability to simplify complex offerings into clear value propositions
16. Experience managing structured pipelines and using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
17. Confidence engaging multiple stakeholders
Desirable
18. Experience in sectors such as Technology, Healthcare, Retail, Financial Services, Energy, or Industrials
19. Exposure to data, research, or subscription-based solutions
20. Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, MEDDPICC, or Challenger
INDLEE
