The Company currently has a vacancy for a Cook in its ERRV/MRV fleet.
Start date: 4th August 2025 - Permanent Contract - 4 weeks on / off rotation.
Candidates must hold a Ships Cook CoC or Ships Cook Part I and II, and a valid Food Hygiene certificate.
Cook Responsibilities:
* Manage the ordering, storage, and use of all catering stores within budget limits.
* Check catering stores upon delivery, and inform the Master of any missing or wrongly delivered stores.
* Monitor all freezer and chill areas.
* Design menus and prepare all food for the crew.
* Ensure safety in the galley and other catering areas.
* Report defects in the galley, fridges, freezers, and food store areas to the Chief Engineer.
* Be familiar with all fire fighting appliances, power cut switches, and safety devices in catering areas.
* Assist on deck during emergency exercises and situations involving the launching or recovery of Fast Rescue Crafts.
