Job Description
Our client is looking for a talented Reward & Benefits Manager to join their growing team, reporting directly to the Head of Reward. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering a global reward and benefits strategy within a highly skilled, collaborative team.
In this role, you’ll have real ownership both in driving the effectiveness of existing programmes and in evolving them to support continued growth. Working closely with HR and senior leadership, you’ll help build frameworks that strengthen the link between performance and reward, while providing expert guidance on benchmarking, salary structures, and job grading.
You’ll also lead on reward analytics and reporting, manage salary surveys, and act as a trusted advisor on both day to day and complex reward queries. Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of a global benefits offering, ensuring programmes remain competitive, consistent, and supportive of employee wellbeing across all locations.
From running the annual compensation review cycle end to end to partnering with providers and brokers, this is a varied and impactful role where your expertise will directly influence business outcomes and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery and ongoing development of the global reward and benefits strategy.
* Manage and enhance the employee benefits offering, ensuring cost-effectiveness, consistency, and a strong focus on wellbeing across UK and international locations.
* Oversee the annual compensation review cycle (salary and bonus), ensuring fairness, consistency, and smooth execution through systems.
* Partner with HR and business leaders to design and implement reward frameworks that align performance with outcomes.
* Provide expert guidance on reward structures, benchmarking, and market data to support hiring and internal decision-making.
* Manage salary survey submissions and oversee the use of external market data.
* Lead job evaluation and grading processes, using established methodologies to provide clear, evidence-based recommendations.
* Produce insightful reward analytics, reports, and data-driven recommendations.
* Act as a subject matter expert, managing both operational and complex reward and benefits queries.
* Support the preparation of materials for Remuneration Committee meetings.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements relating to compensation and benefits.
Ideal candidates would have worked in a regulated environment and ideally the Insurance industry.
