The Assistant Assets Officer supports the Asset Management team in the efficient administration, monitoring, and reporting of housing association assets. This role ensures accurate data management, compliance with statutory and internal policies, and effective communication with residents, contractors, and internal teams to maintain and enhance the value and condition of the association’s property portfolio. The role will involve providing effective administrative support for our maintenance service, assistance with aids and adaptations, servicing, cyclical and planned maintenance schemes.
* 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English Language, passed at Grade C or above, or equivalent
* Experience in the use of MS office (including Word, Excel and Outlook) gained in an office environment
* Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail in data entry and document management
* Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and residents, demonstrating a solution-oriented and approachable style
* Experience in customer service
