Freelance Site Manager - Immediate Start - Basingstoke Area
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a leading contractor on a major infrastructure project in the Basingstoke area.
This is an immediate requirement offering a competitive day rate and the opportunity to work on a large-scale scheme with a strong pipeline of ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations
- Managing subcontractors, plant and labour on site
- Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are maintained
- Monitoring progress against programme targets
- Coordinating site activities and resolving operational issues
- Liaising with project teams and reporting on progress
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering, infrastructure or groundworks projects
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of delivering works safely and efficiently
