We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales executive to join a growing provider of groundworks and landscaping services based near Thame. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, relationship building, and driving growth in a service-led environment.
The New Business Executive will play a key role in expanding the company’s client base across commercial and private sectors. From identifying new leads and managing outreach activity to attending events and negotiating deals, you’ll be instrumental in helping the business reach the next stage of its growth.
Full-time, office-based role: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30.
Includes on-site parking, pension scheme, and regular company events.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Research potential clients, market sectors, and industry trends to uncover new opportunities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
* Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent the business and generate leads
* Manage the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry to closing the deal
* Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate terms, and finalise contracts
* Use CRM systems to track leads, client interactions, and business development performance
* Report on sales activity, pipeline progress, and key performance metrics
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in a business development or sales-focused role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport
* Confident in client-facing situations, including meetings, events, and presentations
* Familiarity with groundworks, landscaping, or construction sectors (desirable)
* Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
* A proactive problem-solver with a strong commercial mindset
