A respected charitable organisation with a strong presence across the island of Ireland is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to join their Belfast-based team.
Your new role
As Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative andernance support to the Chief Executive, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Trustees. You will play a key role in optimising executive productivity, coordinating meetings andmunications, and ensuring the smooth running ofernance processes. This is a varied and impactful role requiring discretion, initiative, and exceptional organisational skills.Key responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating Board and sumittee meetings, preparing agendas and documentation, and taking accurate minutes.
2. Managing the Chief Executive’s calendar, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
3. Supporting the Executive Leadership Team with meeting logistics, documentation, and follow-up actions.
4. Handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
5. Maintaining accurate records and supporting regulatory filings.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
6. NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Business Administration, or a recognised PA qualification.
7. At least 2 years’ experience in a PA or secretarial role, ideally supporting senior leadership.
8. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and calendar management tools.
9. Excellentmunication skills and attention to detail.
10. A high level of integrity and the ability to manage confidential information.
11. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and occasional travel requirements.
