The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to support the Project Manager in delivering a significant industrial warehousing development in the Stratford-upon-Avon area.
This is a hands-on leadership role on a large-scale scheme, suited to a strong site professional who thrives in fast-paced industrial environments and leads by example.
Project and client details will remain confidential and will be shared at interview stage.
The Role
You will take responsibility for day-to-day site operations across the civils and construction phases, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a practical, site-based role requiring active supervision and coordination of trades and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all site activities, trades, and subcontractors
Actively participate in site operations where required
Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
Lead daily briefings and toolbox talks
Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental compliance
Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and labour allocation
Monitor programme progress and report to the Project Manager
Maintain accurate site records including labour, inspections, and incidents
Proactively identify and resolve site issues
Essential Experience & Requirements
Candidates must have:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on significant industrial construction projects
Strong civils and groundworks experience within large-scale industrial builds
Demonstrable experience managing subcontractors on complex live construction sites
Extensive knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety compliance
SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential)
Valid CSCS Card (essential)

A confident leader with a hands-on approach
Highly organised with strong programme awareness
Able to communicate effectively with site teams and senior management
