Delegate Sales Executive
Hybrid – West Sussex
c.£35k + Commission
We’re partnering with a well established B2B information and events organisation that delivers high quality, insight led conferences, awards and networking experiences for professionals across the sustainability and utilities sectors. With a reputation for trusted content and industry influence, they continue to grow through innovative digital and in person events, data led products and a strong membership offering.
They are now looking for an ambitious Delegate Sales Executive to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated salesperson who enjoys consultative conversations and wants to take ownership of selling across a portfolio of respected, research driven events.
Key Responsibilities
* Sell delegate passes across a portfolio of specialist conferences and awards.
* Use a consultative, needs led approach to understand prospect challenges and match them with event content.
* Follow up inbound leads and nurture warm prospects through the pipeline.
* Cross sell relevant products such as memberships where appropriate.
* Build and maintain relationships with professionals at all levels, including senior stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal teams to support campaign performance and share customer insight.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver weekly pipeline updates.
* Meet and exceed revenue targets and call activity KPIs.
About You
You’ll be a confident, proactive salesperson who’s comfortable speaking with professionals and enjoys the buzz of closing deals. You’ll bring:
* 2+ years’ experience in B2B delegate sales or a similar fast paced sales environment.
* Strong communication skills and a confident, engaging telephone manner.
* Experience working to targets with a consistent track record of hitting KPIs.
* A consultative, curious approach to understanding customer needs.
* Good organisation, resilience and the ability to manage your own pipeline.
* A positive, energetic personality and willingness to learn and take feedback.
* Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) is beneficial.
