We have an opportunity for a chef to join the catering team within the main production kitchen at Dr Grays Hospital, providing quality and nutritious meals for patients, staff and visitors.
This role involves general food preparation and large volumes of cooking, while following strict processes and hygiene regulations.
Previous experience of working within a busy catering environment and knowledge of HACCP procedures essentials.
It is important that the successful applicant can handle large volume production, done to exact specification and following exact procedures.
Band 2
Hours: 36 hours per week on a 5 week rotation
Enhanced rates Saturday, Sunday and Public holiday
Applicants must be friendly, flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and have the ability to work well within a large team.
