Mid Frontend Developer

Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Location: Hybrid: 2 days per week at our client’s office in Leeds, 3 days remote

Collaboration & Delivery
* Build and maintain production-ready frontend applications used by real-world users, not small brochure sites.
* Collaborate with designers to engineer intuitive, user-focused experiences .
* Comfortable managing workload across multiple concurrent projects.
* Ensure features are delivered cleanly, efficiently, and to a high standard.
* Participate in regular stand-ups, planning sessions, and project reviews.
Essential Experience & Technical Skills
* 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
* Commercial experience building applications with VueJS.
* Strong understanding of Vue fundamentals.
* Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+)
* Design and maintain reusable, scalable components and composable architectures.
* Experience using browser APIs such as localStorage and the Location API.
* Familiarity with Node-based tooling and package managers (NPM or Yarn).
* Strong CSS skills, including Flexbox, Grid, and custom properties, applied effectively for responsive design.
* Experience in consuming and working with REST APIs.
* Experience using Git for version control.
* Strong knowledge of semantic HTML, accessibility standards, and modern document structure.
* Strong attention to detail, UX awareness, and a proactive learning mindset.
* Comfortable managing workload across multiple concurrent projects.
Desirable Experience
* Translate design concepts and Figma designs into clean, accessible, high-quality user interfaces.
* Some backend PHP experience, ideally within Laravel or Symfony projects.
