Join Our Mission to uphold Scotland's Food Integrity
At Food Integrity Assurance (FIA), we're proud to be the trusted partner delivering assessment and certification services on behalf of Quality Meat Scotland, Scottish Quality Crops, Scottish Quality Wild Venison, Wildlife Estates Scotland, and other leading Schemes. Every year, we support over 13,500 agricultural businesses across Scotland, helping them maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and sustainability.
We're growing - and we're looking for an experienced Quality Manager, preferably with demonstrable experience within the certification sector and knowledge of ISO/IEC 17065 requirements, to take the lead role in managing our quality and accreditation structure across the business.
Why this role matters
As Quality Manager you will join the FIA Management team and report to the General Manager, playing a key role in protecting the integrity of FIA and its' clients through close working relationships with UKAS and FIA's Integrity Committee. You'll be a key link at the intersection of agriculture, quality assurance, and stakeholder relationships—helping to safeguard the reputation of Scotland's produce at home and abroad.
What you will do
· Lead the implementation and management of the FIA quality management system
· Manage accreditation in line with ISO/IEC 17065 requirements and coordinate with UKAS
· Drive continuous improvement through internal audits
· Coordinate UKAS witness and shadow assessments with Planning and Field Managers
· Partner with the Operations and Data Manager to maintain and enforce quality processes
· Support the General Manager by organising and preparing papers for the Annual and Quarterly Quality Reviews, including reviewing performance of the quality management system
· Implement new accreditation requirements in collaboration with the Management Team
· Provide reporting and secretariat support to the FIA Integrity Committee
· Assist with complaints and appeals management
· Represent FIA in external client meetings
What we are looking for
You'll bring excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and the confidence to work with a wide range of people—from primary producers to regulatory and industry bodies. While experience in agriculture or certification is essential, comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided to allow you to be successful in this key role.

· A hybrid working model for better work-life balance.
· A friendly, skilled, and supportive team passionate about the food sector.
