JOB VACANCY: Site Handyman

Location: Peckham, South East London (SE15)

Pay Rate: GBP19.00 : GBP20.00 per hour (CIS)

Duration: 3 : 4 weeks

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Handyman to join a fast:paced school construction project in Peckham. If you are proactive, versatile, and take pride in finishing a handover to a high standard, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Snagging and Finishing: Handover prep, touching up paintwork, and basic dry:lining/patching.
*

Basic Carpentry: Adjusting doors, fixing ironmongery, and easing locks.
*

Site Maintenance: Installing temporary protection on finished surfaces and putting up site signage.
*

Managerial Support: Assisting the Site Manager with ad:hoc trade tasks to keep the handover on track.

What We Need From You:

Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled card preferred, but Green considered with strong trade experience).
*

Own Tools: Full set of hand tools and basic cordless power tools (Drill/Impact driver essential).
*

Full PPE: Hard hat, high:vis vest/jacket, and steel:toe cap boots.
*

Reliability: Punctual, hard:working, and respectful of health and safety regulations on a school site.
*

(Bonus) A current DBS check is highly advantageous, though not strictly essential.
