The Active Together Service in Hull is collaboration between Yorkshire Cancer Research and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH), working alongside researchers from Sheffield Hallam University to develop and evaluate the service. The Active Together Service is delivered by a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Fitness Instructors, Dietitians, and Psychologists, delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
Reporting to the Head of Active Together, you will establish and deliver the physical activity component of the Active Together programme, and you will train and manage a team of Fitness Instructors delivering the service. You will also work on developing, evaluating, and implementing rehabilitation services for adults with a cancer diagnosis. As Lead Fitness Instructor you will also ensure a multidisciplinary, inclusive, and responsive approach to service delivery.
To be considered for this role, you will need CIMPSA Level 4 qualification in Cancer and Exercise Rehabilitation and experience as a Lead Fitness Instructor.
