Job Overview
1. Provide day‑to‑day porterage and basic handyman support to ensure the CDC operates safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Act as a key support role for clinical teams, facilities management, and the client.
Main Duties
2. Complete PPM tasks (planned and reactive) as instructed
3. Move supplies and equipment across the site to required locations
4. Manage waste streams, including: General waste Clinical waste Biological waste (if applicable) Handle patient samples (e.g. blood samples), where required
5. Manage linen and laundry processes
6. Manage deliveries, parcels, and post,
7. Carry out basic handyman tasks to support site presentation and functionality
8. Maintain outdoor areas, including: General upkeep Gritting in cold weather, when required Support reactive cleaning requests when needed
