Site Manager - Reading - Commercial New Build
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance + Pension
Location: Hampshire / Surrey / Berkshire
We are partnering with a respected Hampshire‑based main contractor who, due to sustained growth and an £8 million+ commercial new build starting near Reading in the next couple of months, are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager as soon as possible.
This Site Manager - Reading opportunity will see you working on a high‑quality new build commercial scheme, reporting directly into a site‑based Project Manager. With a clear long‑term development plan in place, the successful Site Manager will be positioned for progression into a more senior role over the next few years.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager with day‑to‑day site operations
Oversee subcontractors, site logistics, and programme delivery
Ensure high standards of health & safety compliance
Deliver works on time, to specification, and to quality expectations
Coordinate with commercial and technical teams
Build and maintain strong relationships on siteAbout You
Experienced Site Manager or strong Assistant Site Manager ready to step up
Background in new build construction (commercial experience highly beneficial)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proactive, dependable, and quality‑focused
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferredWhat's on Offer
