We are on the hunt for a CIPD qualified, highly experienced, strategic and operational
Head of People (HR)
to join a leading London Law Firm on a 12m FTC.
Working closely with the HR team, partners and business services leaders, the Interim Head of People & Culture will play a key role in the leadership of the HR function.
You will help deliver an ambitious people strategy and foster a high-performance culture whilst ensuring operational excellence.

Standard working hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm and hybrid working is offered.
Key responsibilities as the Interim Head of People (HR) will include:
* Overseeing the People and Culture team, providing line management and development
* Acting as the point of escalation for the HR Business partnering, operations, DEI and talent development teams as required
* Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on people-related matters including organisational design, workforce planning and ER
* Ensuring team and company compliance with UK employment law and regulatory requirements on all HR matters
* Developing, tracking and reporting on HR related metrics
* Overseeing the management of the department's budgets
* Overseeing the annual reward benchmarking project and reward review processes
* Supporting a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the company

What we're looking for:
* Professional HR or business qualification (Level 7 CIPD/MA/MBA) or similar
* Demonstrable experience within a senior generalist HR / People leadership role, preferably within a law firm, although professional services environment will be considered
* Strong track record of leading an HR / people team and developing HR / People projects
* Expertise across multiple HR disciplines including ER, talent and development, performance, DEI and operations
* Ability to provide both strategic and operational support at a senior level
* Excellent project management capabilities
* Proven ability to quickly gain credibility at all levels
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
* IT literate with good MS Office and experience with HR systems, analytics and data
* Available imminently and able to commit to a 12m FTC
