This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our exceptional Bright Futures team as a founding staff member at our brand-new independent specialist school in Salford.
Building on the success of our two highly regarded, non-associated, independent specialist schools in St Helens and Lymm, we are expanding our high-quality educational offer across the North West.
Our mission is to provide a pupil-centred, personalised education for pupils aged 5-19 with Autism, learning difficulties, and other sensory processing disorders. We provide a calm, nurturing and safe environment where every child feels valued, supported and a true sense of belonging.

The Role
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference and improving outcomes for all pupils.
As a (Senior) Learning Mentor, you will:
* Play a key role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment
* Provide tailored, individualised support to pupils
* Encourage the development of essential life and learning skills
* Support pupils to reach their full potential.
Working under the direction of the Class Teacher, you will undertake all general day-to-day activities with pupils in the classroom, ensuring every pupil's individual needs are met.
About You
We are looking for people who:
* Have a strong understanding of Autism and sensory processing difficulties
* Demonstrate a calm, confident and professional approach
* Can build effective and enduring relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
* Thrive in environments that can be challenging yet highly rewarding
* Are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Show initiative and a genuine desire to support specialist educational provision
You will play an integral role in supporting both pupils and the wider school community, undertaking a range of learning support and general duties.
A comprehensive induction and training programme will be provided to support your success in the role.
You must demonstrate that you meet all of the essential experience, knowledge and personal qualities criteria on the person specification, using practical examples, as a minimum.
