I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established main contractor who are about to begin a 42-week leisure refurbishment project in Bury St Edmunds. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day site operations and ensure the successful delivery of this fast-paced, high-profile scheme. The Role As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for: * Leading site operations throughout the full refurbishment programme * Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to spec * Overseeing health & safety, inductions, RAMS, and site audits * Liaising with the client, project manager, and wider delivery team * Maintaining progress schedules and reporting on programme performance * Ensuring quality control and resolving on-site issues proactively About You We’re looking for someone who has: * Proven experience managing refurbishment or leisure sector projects * A track record of running sites as the No.1 Site Manager * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential) * The ability to drive programme, maintain standards, and keep the project moving What’s On Offer * Competitive day rate * Long-term 42-week contract with a reputable main contractor * Opportunity to lead a standout leisure refurbishment project * Supportive team and well-structured project environment If you are interested in this position as a Senior Site Manager in Bury St Edmonds please call Georgia at CPR Recruitment
