We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Developer to join our growing development team. This entry-level position offers excellent opportunities for career development and hands-on experience with modern software development practices. The role will primarily focus on developing and customising solutions within the Proclaim case management system, alongside development projects. The successful candidate will work across various projects while receiving mentorship and training, reporting to the Head of IT.
Participate in the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment
•Write clean, maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices
•Create and maintain technical documentation for Proclaim customizations and other projects
•Bring a fresh set of eyes and forward-thinking ideas.
Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities
•Project Support
•Assist with bug fixes, testing, and quality assurance activities
•Support deployment processes and system maintenance tasks
Help maintain existing applications and systems
•Support integration projects with third-party systems
•Assist with general IT day to day work. (Genuine passion for technology and strong interest in pursuing a career in software development
•Strong foundation in programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming concepts
•A basic knowledge of at least one modern programming language (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript)
•Understanding of database concepts
•Evidence of self-directed learning through personal projects, online courses, or self-study.
Experience with Proclaim case management system or similar legal software (comprehensive training will be provided regardless of experience level)
•Formal qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
•Experience with modern web frameworks (React, Angular, .NET, etc.)
•Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
•Understanding of agile development methodologies
•Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
•Previous internship or work experience in software development
•Understanding of legal sector workflows and case management processes
