Learning Mentor Full Time Uxbridge September 2025 The Role: Work closely with the school's pastoral team as a learning mentor, providing support to students in overcoming learning barriers. Lead initiatives targeting individual and small groups of students, creating an environment conducive to learning and personal development. Establish and maintain open communication channels with teaching staff, parents/carers, and additional needs/EAL staff to ensure a holistic approach to student support. Supervise and support students in the Focus Area, offering guidance on tasks, ensuring completion of assignments, and collecting work. Maintain accurate daily records and efficiently perform necessary administrative tasks. Develop and implement personalized action plans for students identified by the pastoral team, conducting individual or small group meetings based on a predetermined schedule. Collaborate with the pastoral team to innovate and implement effective support and intervention packages for students.
