Overview
HR Administrator Finsbury Park (Hybrid). £17.44 PAYE or £23.16 Umbrella. Temp to perm (£32-36k salary once offered a permanent contract). We’re looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join the central HR team of one of the UK’s largest and most respected construction companies. This is a role for someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced HR Shared Services environment and is ready to take the lead on administration within a busy team.
Responsibilities
* Manage high-volume HR administration, supporting 30–40 new starters each month and the full employee lifecycle administration
* Maintain and update case management systems with accuracy and confidentiality
* Take ownership of auditing HR records to ensure compliance and data integrity
* Act as the first point of contact for the admin team and wider business stakeholders
* Contribute to and lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency
* Support with governance and HR policy compliance across the business
* Collaborate with 5 HR Administrators, a Team Leader, and an Operations Manager to deliver a first-class shared service
Skills & Experience
* Proven HR administration experience in a shared service or high-volume environment (1 year)
* Confidence in using HR systems and case management tools
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to proactively lead on tasks and support colleagues within a team
* Experience in auditing, process improvement, and governance support
* Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
* Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a changing environment
