Our client
Our client is a leading European Investment Bank seeking an employment counsel to work within a close-knit legal team. The role involves working closely with HR, providing legal advice on employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing legal support on employee relations issues, grievances, disciplinary cases, and internal investigations.
* Supporting employment-related litigation, especially cases involving SMCR and other HRE matters.
* Drafting and reviewing HR-related agreements, forms, templates, and updating HR policies.
* Advising on legal developments and providing training to HR on new legal requirements.
* Assisting with litigious processes, regulatory matters, and internal investigations.
Experience Requirements:
* Qualified lawyer with 2-6 PQE, preferably from a leading employment practice or in-house experience, with financial services experience advantageous.
* Experience advising on HR matters and some contentious employment experience.
* Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders about legal developments and risks.
